My Top 5 Breakfasts

Growing up I heard the phrase ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day’, for me this really does ring true as it’s the meal that kick starts your day.

During the week I normally alternate between two breakfasts because I don’t have time in the morning for lots of preparation and then have more variation on the weekends. Sometimes though I’ll prepare my breakfast the night before then I can just take it out of the fridge in the morning.

Try adding these to your morning

  1. Peanut butter and rose (beerenberg) jam toast.

  2. Chocolate raspberry smoothie bowl topped with hemp seeds, fresh fruit, nut butter, and granola if I have some on hand if not, I use special k).

  3. Flourless banana pancakes topped with fresh fruit, maple syrup and protein yoghurt (sometimes I will just eat them plain as well)

  4. Granola with fruit and nut butter

  5. Overnight Weetabix (my favourite flavours to make are bounty, chocolate hazelnut, caramel biscuit, mars, lemon cheesecake and raspberry ripe).

Note: if you are not a fan of Weetabix, you could make the same thing with oats.

If you’re bored with your current breakfasts and are looking to try something new head over to my services page and read about what I offer including a 7-day meal plan and/or meal audit.
